Next week, people around the world will take time to remember and reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King once said, "All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence."

January 19 will mark the 30th Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.  As we observe the annual celebration of his life and works, I personally want to thank every Georgia-Pacific employee who contributes to their community through service. Whether it’s tutoring students, building homes or providing essentials to those in need, I’m proud of the dedicated individuals who bring Dr. King’s words to life wherever we operate.

Volunteerism is part of who we are and what we do at Georgia-Pacific, and we honor Dr. King’s legacy with acts of service throughout the year.

In this video, watch some of the ways Georgia-Pacific proudly serves others in the community.
