Second Graders Transform Toilet Paper

TP Dispensers

A little rock with your roll of TP? Why not? New York Elementary students reinvent the toilet paper dispenser.

We have teams of Georgia-Pacific employees working hard, experimenting and innovating just to enhance the toilet paper experience for our customers, but it looks like we just got some tough new competition . . . from a 2nd grade class in Lawrence, Kansas!

Teacher Shane Heiman of New York Elementary recently challenged his students to redesign the toilet paper dispenser. After seeing the amazing creativity the kids came up with, he shared the drawings with us on Twitter.

A little rock with your roll of TP? . . . A toilet paper dispenser with a button to control the length? . . . Knock-knock jokes printed on toilet paper? . . .

At Georgia-Pacific we love creative thinking. We were so impressed with these students we decided to bring their ideas to life as animations and share them with the class.  Check out the students' creations below and our CEO and President Jim Hannan's personal video message to the class!
