Georgia-Pacific has a history of investing in communities through the Georgia-Pacific Foundation and through corporate programs. Our support includes cash and product donations—particularly in response to natural disasters and other crises.
Additionally, hundreds of Georgia-Pacific employees volunteer in the community as part of Georgia-Pacific's ServiceForce volunteer group, and the company's 300 plus operations support other local programs and activities.
Georgia-Pacific Foundation Grants
In 2006, excluding major marketing partnerships, our total community investment was approximately $7 million. The Foundation makes grants in the company's key investment areas—Entrepreneurship, Education, Environment and community Enrichment.
