Newly improved DensDeck® Prime Roof Board offers broader than ever compatibility and higher performance with roofing adhesives. Enhanced fiberglass mats help achieve more uniform application and better bonding with the roofing membrane when solvent-based adhesives are used. The enhanced fiberglass mats also create a better mat-to-core bond to help withstand wind uplift.
The board’s face mat now overlaps on the backside of the board so membranes lie more uniformly over top. Boards are easier to handle as dust from scoring and cutting is reduced.
DensDeck Prime Roof Board is approved by leading roofing system manufacturers and consultants for use in most low slope roofing systems. It is UL classified in accordance with ANSI/UL 790 for use over combustible and noncombustible decks and in accordance with ANSI/UL 1256 for under-deck (internal) fire exposure. It works in many FM-tested assemblies and provides an ideal substrate for roof-mounted energy systems.
