ToughRock® Gypsum Boards for Residential and Commercial Construction

ToughRock® gypsum boards, with recycled paper facings front and back, are ideal for a variety of drywall applications including: interior walls and ceilings, high-traffic institutional interiors, and veneer plaster base systems. ToughRock Fireguard® and Fireguard C® gypsum boards can be used in many fire-rated assemblies.

Regional Manufacturing and Recycled Content

ToughRock gypsum boards are manufactured in many locations across the United States and Canada. Depending on the location, plants may use locally sourced materials such as synthetic gypsum and recycled paper. Regular Gypsum Drywall

ToughRock Light and Strong gypsum boards

Regular paper-faced gypsum drywall is available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" thicknesses. 1/2" ToughRock Light & Strong, engineered lighter and more sag-resistant than traditional 1/2" ToughRock, is ideal for ceilings as well as walls.

Fire-Resistant Gypsum Drywall

Type X gypsum boards, as defined in ASTM C 1396, classified by Underwriters Laboratories LLC (UL) for use in fire-rated assemblies.

ToughRock Fireguard® and Fireguard C® Gypsum Boards

Moisture- and Mold-Resistant Drywall

ToughRock Mold-Guard gypsum boards provide extra protection against mold and mildew compared to regular ToughRock gypsum boards. Available in 1/2" and 5/8" Type X.

ToughRock® Mold-Guard™ Gypsum Board

Specialty Boards

Specialty and architecturally-specified ToughRock gypsum boards for a variety of applications.
