We offer a broad line of traditional phenolic resins that allow coating formulators to meet demanding application requirements by offering:

  • Excellent corrosion protection from water, humidity, and salt fog
  • Good wetting, recoatability, and substrate adhesion
  • Outstanding resistance to acids, solvents, and inorganic compounds
  • Excellent protection of metal and wood substrates
  • High hardness and abrasion resistance
  • Adaptability to solvent-based, high-solids, and waterborne coating systems

Paint Brush Phenolic resins are used as modifiers for air-dry alkyd and two-component epoxy primers.
Phenolics are used as the majority resin in coatings for thermosetting coatings for rigid substrates requiring high resistance to acids and strong solvents.
Can Phenolic resins are used to crosslink high molecular weight epoxies and other polymers with available hydroxyl groups.

Waterborne Coating Resins
Featuring our Waterborne Phenolic Resins for low-VOC Protective Coating applications.
