Mining Chemicals Refinery co-products are an excellent source of fats and soaps used in ore beneficiation and end processing. Blended materials and reaction products derived from tall oil are used in mineral recovery operations, including phosphate, kaolin, calcium carbonate, and glass sands. |

Printing Inks and Processing Our tall oil rosin is a key raw material in the production of ink resins. We also have specialty process chemicals used in several printing and engraving techniques. Applications include flushes, lubricants, and custom surfactant packages. |

Refinery Co-Products We produce refinery co-products as a low cost alternative to refinery prime products. Our crude fatty acid, high acid value heads, low acid value heads, pitch, and column bottoms can be used in applications where product variability is allowed. These streams have extensive use in mining chemicals, dust control, asphalt, low cost esters, low grade-thermal dimers, corrosion inhibition, water proofing, and fuel value. |

Surfactants and Emulsifiers Our products are used in the production of surfactants and emulsifiers. Various surface-active agents derived from tall oil sources include dimers, disproportionated tall oil fatty acid and rosin, modified tall oils, varieties of soaps and salts, sulfonates, sulfates, solvents, amides, imides, esters, and defoamers. |
