Georgia-Pacific Acquires Orbis Container Services’ RPC Business
Georgia-Pacific RPC LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of ORBIS Container Services’ reusable plastic container (RPC) business from ORBIS Corp., effective December 8, 2009.
This strategic acquisition enhances Georgia-Pacific’s existing RPC business and our ability to provide a variety of packaging solutions to meet customer needs.
Georgia-Pacific’s packaging business is a recognized leader in manufacturing customer-focused packaging solutions. The company manufactures paper for a variety of end-uses including high graphic and traditional corrugated packaging as well as folding cartons, cups, plates, and multi-wall bags with brands such as Greenshield®, Color-Box® and Signature Solutions®. The business also has an Innovation Institute® designed to facilitate break-through thinking and next generation packaging solutions, helping customers realize the full value of their packaging investment.
