Georgia-Pacific Packaging uses renewable resources (primarily
wood fiber grown under sustainable practices), recovered
fiber (obtained from our own recycled corrugated board),
or a combination of the two to manufacture linerboard
and medium. Linerboard and medium are the primary
components used to manufacture our numerous corrugated
box products.

Our Color-Box™ initiative offers the high-graphics punch of folding cartons while saving fiber using a more efficient structure. This enables right-sized, lightweight packaging without sacrificing the performance of corrugated boxes, which is so important across company supply chains.

We offer reusable plastic containers (RPCs) and Greenshield™, a recyclable alternative to wax coated boxes, rigid wood crates and styrofoam. Greenshield™, Georgia Pacific’s family of recyclable corrugated solutions, delivers tested strength and an excellent moisture barrier.
