Since 2012, the Brawny® brand has proudly partnered with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP). We’ve contributed more than $1.9 million to support their mission to help wounded servicemen and women adjust to civilian life and persevere through the visible and invisible wounds of war.
This year through our “Tough Is” campaign, we wanted to start a conversation around defining what it means to be tough – is it physical? mental? emotional? Can it even be defined in a single way? Through illustrated word art and four video stories, we set out to document examples of the extraordinary toughness warriors and their families embody.
These inspiring stories feature two courageous warriors who served and were wounded physically and mentally, and two selfless caregivers who demonstrate how tough and crucial it is to support wounded warriors after they return home.
To celebrate the extraordinary toughness of wounded service members, families, and caregivers, this year Brawny® will donate up to $350,000 to Wounded Warrior Project®. Brawny® is encouraging you to share your thoughts on what “Tough Is” – $1 will be given for every text and photo submission using #ToughIs on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and $5 for every video submission using the same hashtag. To read what others have said, submit your own definition, or watch our videos, you can also visit our website: www.brawny.com/wounded-warrior-project.
And because the Brawny® brand knows what it means to be tough, we take great pride in celebrating brave service men and women this Veterans Day – and every day. We are proud to say “thank you.”
