One of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s great legacies is service, which lives on through the charitable efforts of millions throughout the world. He believed that through charity and people working together, embracing each other's backgrounds, experiences and other differences, we could make the world a better place. And he was right.

Dr. King also believed "greatness is determined by service." Many Georgia-Pacific employees are committed to serving their community and working to make it a better place, just as King did. They embody the spirit of service he promoted throughout this life, and I'm honored to work with them at GP.

Take a look at the video below to learn how GP employees in Big Island, Virginia, support Dr. King's legacy by working to ensure local disadvantaged children don't have to worry about where their next meal will come from.
