Carmine Perri
Senior Vice President, Sourcing
Carmine Perri leads Georgia-Pacific’s strategic sourcing and procurement efforts, overseeing the company’s global purchasing, including fiber, energy, and real estate operations. With more than 30 years of experience across Koch companies, Carmine brings deep experience in manufacturing and the continued application of Principle-Based Management, as well as a grounding in finance and compliance systems.
Before assuming his current role, Carmine served as vice president of wood products for nearly four years, leading Georgia-Pacific’s plywood, lumber, oriented strandboard and particleboard operations. Since 2006, he has held multiple senior manufacturing leadership roles in Building Products, managing operations for gypsum and wood product asset platforms throughout North America. In total, Carmine has 19 years of experience specifically in building products manufacturing.
Carmine’s career began in 1992 as a plant engineer at Koch Mineral Services in Ontario. He subsequently gained project and commercial development experience at Koch’s headquarters in Wichita before returning to operations leadership. He served as vice president of operations and compliance for Koch Mineral Services. In this role and others, Carmine oversaw operations related to ammonia plants, natural gas liquids (NGL) collection, processing, and storage, as well as chemical and dry bulk terminals and distribution assets.
Throughout his career, Carmine has played a key role in major asset acquisitions and divestitures in the Building Products sector, totaling nearly a billion dollars, as well as working to significantly enhance Georgia-Pacific’s competitive position.
A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Carmine holds a mechanical engineering degree from Queen’s University in Kingston. He lives in Atlanta with his lovely wife Jennifer.
