Lenton Cooper

Vice President, Compliance & Ethics

Lenton leads our global Compliance & Ethics capability that supports the company in practicing compliance excellence. He began his career at Georgia-Pacific in operations in 2011 as a finishing and logistics module manager, responsible for overseeing manufacturing departments and logistics processes. In 2015, he moved to Atlanta when he became a Compliance & Ethics director, implementing a comprehensive compliance program for international locations. Lenton's success led to his appointment as Compliance & Ethics vice president for the Packaging and Cellulose division in 2019, overseeing multiple business units. Prior to joining Georgia-Pacific, Lenton served as an air defense artillery officer in the United States Army. Lenton is passionate about giving back to the community, volunteering with the veterans’ support group of his former Army unit, serving on Georgia-Pacific's Service Force Council, contributing to Habitat for Humanity, and mentoring students in the local community. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a Master's of Business from Florida International University.
