Green Bay Operations, Wisconsin
Georgia-Pacific (GP), part of Koch, Inc., has facilities throughout northeast Wisconsin that are considered critical operations for the company’s long-term success. Approximately 1,600 GP and Koch employees work in Green Bay, Wisconsin. About 1,180 manufacturing employees produce commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, towels) and approximately 500 business support employees provide engineering, transportation, information technology and customer service companywide. Our Green Bay Operations include three facilities – a paper mill, a converting operation and a recycled paper processing plant.
- The Broadway mill is one of the largest wastepaper recycling operations in the world and recently celebrated its 100-year anniversary. It uses more than 430,000 tons of recovered wastepaper each year to produce paper products found in airports, hotels, restaurants, hospitals and schools.
- Packerland converting facility supplies paper goods, such as napkins, food wraps and basket liners to restaurant and foodservice industries. It also produces Angel Soft® facial tissue.
- Ecosource™ is a paper recycling operation that recycles nearly 50,000 tons of wastepaper per year, which equals approximately 1 million trees. The recycled paper is used by the Broadway mill to manufacture different paper products.
